Question How many calories should I consume per day?

I started Atkins 2/28/03. I seem to be a little slow on the losing side but am down to 129.5, of which 8pds was from the first 2 weeks.
I'm 4'10, could you tell me approx how many calories I should be consuming a day? I'm fairly active, but I do not get to exercise that much except walking with a couple times a week.

Also, could anyone recomend a site that can give me calorie amounts in foods? I tried fitday and my computer does not want to cooperate with the site.

I just wanted to add that I'm not trying to cut calories or anything, I'm just worried that maybe I'm not getting enough.

I'm a little confused on this site trying to find my way around, hope this comes under my original post...lol

Default calories a day

Try this site
http://www.room42.com/nutrition/basalcgi.html

put in your numbers and you should be able to see by your activity how many calories you need. factor in your activity and you will see if you need to add or decrease calories. If you are using atkins forget the fat quotas for the day and stick to your carb counting
