Default testing sticks - Ottawa

Anyone know in the Ottawa area where to buy the testing strips you pee on to check out your ketone levels?

I looked at Shoppers Drug mart but don't know what to look for or what to ask for.

Thanks

They might not be on the shelf ... sometimes they keep them behind the counter so you have to ask for them. Not because they're restricted or anything like that, but apparently they're a hot shoplift item .. Ketostix is the usual name. Walmart has them too, and last time I checked they were on the shelf with the diabetic testing supplies.

hth,

Doreen

Cool thanks. I want to start adding some berries into my diet and have no idea if I am even in Ketosis. I would assume so. Curiosity I guess mostly.

I wish there was a wlmart in the east end other the orleans and south keys!

Hi: if you've got a membership at Costco... go to the pharmacy and ask for "ketostiks". They have the best price in town. There's a Costco in the east end, on Innes.

Regards
