Default newbie's thanks

I just joined, but have been cruising the site for 5 days. I started lc on July 15 and had success, but then went away where someone else was cooking. I tried to stay lc and I discovered no-sugar candy. DLite and Carbolite. Wow!! One small bar a day, then one after every meal, then two after dinner (after all they are very small) and my digestive system revolted and the weight loss stopped. Went to this cl site and discovered that sugar alcohol had this effect on people. Stopped cold turkey and I had my husband hide my stash. I started losing weight again. I am now a faithful reader - looking for every aid I can. Have even purchased pork skins to make french toast and tofu for macaroni and cheese. Now If I can just make myself cook the stuff I'm sure I will have expanded my menus. So thanks to all who shared receipes and information. Good luck to all.
