Default Advantage Bars and Cravings

Greetings all,

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced an increase in sugar cravings after using the Atkins Advantage Bars. I love them for their convenience and probably due to the fact that they're candy-bar-esque but I am finding myself feeling a little out of control! Any thoughts or experiences?

They've never given me cravings but I only have about 1/2 a bar per day and that's divided into two taste treats. Maybe that's why. I'm kind of afraid to have a whole one...not to mention that they're not exactly cheap.

Sugar alcohols are partially absorbed, so for many the net carbs listed are very misleading. Also for some anything sweet causes an insulin reaction.

What you might try is looking in the sweet treats forum on here and make you own desserts or candies not involving sugar alcohols. There are also recipes for protien bars.
