Talking Pre-Induction - Inches Lost!

I had to share! I'm starting true induction on Monday. So this week I'm making some changes in hopes of avoiding "Induction Flu". I've limited my caffeine, Have eaten omelets (induction friendly) for breakfast every day, and had pretty much whatever I want for lunch/dinner (but because of the high protein breakfast - I don't want as much food, or as much sugar!).

I have been systematically eating the sugar/carb treats around the house this week (a piece of cheesecake, the last bowl of ice-cream, some bread) so I shouldn't be seeing any results at all. (I already drink a ton of water as a habit, so no change there)

Well, I am. Seeing change. I've lost 3 inches off my waste. 47" at the narrowest point at the beginning of the week, 44" now. Have I mentioned I am a massive migraine sufferer and haven't had one all week?

Reading through DANDR this weekend (already read WWGF) to make sure I am on the right track. So friggin psyched to go for it on Monday!

Removed all of the "accidental sugar" crap in the kitchen (particularly the spice blends! WTH! Why is there sugar in Garlic Salt?) and have the Induction Approved Foods list on the fridge.

Thank you to the entire forum for posting so MUCH information and inspiration. You guys helped me overcome my skepticism quickly and decisively!

Way to go! I'm like you- starting induction (again) on Monday. Trying to rid the house of the carby stuff from Easter- some of it ending in my mouth

Good luck with your start and I'm sure in a week from now you'll be thrilled with the progress.

Nikki
