My mom bought Shaws (grocerystore) brand "Sugar Free Drink Mix" which is a spinoff of Crystal light, just like $3 cheaper..lol..

Ingredients are..
Citric acid
Natural lemon and lime flavors
Maltodextrin
Potassim citrate
Aspartame
Acesulfame potassium
Calcium silicate
Gum arabic
Magnesium oxide
Artifical color yellow 5, blue 1

Anything in it I Should be worried about besides the Aspartame? (dosen't bother me) Gum arabic and Artificial colors don't sound right, but I don't know if its also in Crystal Light.
And I don't know if its coincidence or not, but I go to the bathroom more when I drink Crystal light so I'm wondering if there is something in this thats making me retain fluids..

Problem is that many people have adverse reactions to Asparateme (or nutra sweet). I don't. I can drink Crystal Lite powder (or store-brand) and seem to not lose ketosis and continue to lose weight. Now I only drink about 12 oz a day at most so maybe if I was drinking higher quantity it would affect me negatively.

You should try to keep water as your bevarage of choice...drinking diet drinks and/or soda once in a while perhaps during a meal. I find that the more of the artificial stuff I drink the less water I drink. Good luck.

Aside from the horrors of using aspartame, that product also uses maltodextrin which is a hidden carb. It could possibly stall weight loss.

thanks for the link, I've never seen that one before. I didn't realize there were hidden carbs in it. Ok. I'm done. I'm sticking to water for now.
