Thumbs down HAD A BREAKDOWN

On my 6th day I really had a breakdown. And to me it was huge. I ate a kit-kat and even though it was so good I felt so bad afterwards. Those darn cravings. That was the 1st time I had some sugar since I started this program.

Now what do I do? Do I start over from the beginning or can I keep going from where I am?

HELP !!!!

Don't beat yourself up.

Keep going as you have been.

As for punishment. Since this is your first time....

10 situps
10 pushups

It goes up after this

Unhappy Lesson Learned!

You are still in induction, so where would you go if you went back? Just jump back on the wagon and remember that this was a lesson learned. It may take you a day or two to get back into ketosis, but one slip-up won't ruin the plan. Just don't do it again until you are way past induction and even then, don't do it often.

It's when these little cheats become habit that you are truly in trouble.

Default Thanks I needed that

Thanks for the advice. I'm definitely gonna do the 10 sit-up and pushups for this one. ANd if it happens again then I will add 10 more to that.

I will keep going and will drinks twice as much water today to get my ketosis straight. Is it ok if you don't check your ketosis? I've yet to buy the sticks.

definitely don't beat yourself up, and keep going...but I want to nudge you to also be very careful day 5-6 of sugar abstenance again. You do have to focus--sometimes for a whole month--to stay away from those addictive foods.

As someone else (somewhere--wish I could quote them accurately!) said, "I make it a moral issue. I don't beat my kids, I don't steal from the store, and I don't eat high-carb foods." Until it's that automatic, that much a part of your life, you will have to exert some pressure to learn the best habits.

Lecture over--now go forth and kit-kat no more!
