Question Not enough calories?

I've got a few postings all over this site about the fact I'm not losing on induction. I just had a brainstorm and am wondering your thoughts....

I'm eating
average 1700 calories
up to 65% fat (I just started adding more fat so this will go up a little)
carbs are 10-20 g per day - average 17
(I'm not deducting fiber)
I drink 64+ ounces of water
I don't exercise.

Do you think due to my current weight of 213 that i might need 10x those calories?

This is what I am afraid of. I have only eaten a little over 500 cal. today and only 6 carbs. This is my first day tho. I have eaten when I was hungry, I just havent been hungry. I think it is because I drink so much water that it keeps me full.

This is another thing that amazes me about this plan. I didnt know there was a such thing as not eating enough. I will jump on the scales in the morning and see what happens.

You should try to fit exercise in somewhere. When I first started at 233 lbs. I couldnt even walk 10 minutes. Now I can walk as long as I want. I usually walk at least an hour. I used to have backaches everyday and now I never have one. I give credit to both walking and losing the weight.

I would defination up your calories, add more water that's for sure, add is some exercise, even walking to start off, you'll be amazed. Make sure you're eating veggies to get your carbs to 20 - if you're not deducting fibre you could be as low as 15 - it makes a big difference and lastly, if you can, increase your fat a little bit (it'll come with the calorie increase) with full fat dressing, extra mayo, butter, olive oil or cheese (make sure not to exceed 3 to 4 oz. per day).
