Question Russell Stovers Sugar Free Candy

I tried the Russell Stovers Sugar Free Candy today..the Toffee one..it was so good...but, what's the deal with it? All the carbs and sugar alcohols...so how do they measure up for us LCers? Also, how do some of you go about controlling your sugar alcohols? How many do you limit yourselves to a day? During induction I lost 12 lbs, but I just feel like there should be more progress...I limited myself to 20 or under carbs a day...just feel like Im in a rut...now, back to that candy.....

mmm love Russell Stover. Just had a Pecan Delight a moment ago. And, I have the caramels in the freezer as well. I have tried the PB cups and they're pretty good too.

I personally think these are the best candies on the market. Cheaper and taste most like real candy. However, that said, I only have them when a cheat is imminent. Point in fact: Movies: hubby is eating a box of Junior mints. I whip out my Russell Stove fave. Eat 2 or 3 pieces and expect the scale won't move. Not UP or NOT down. Work: a box of sees candy arrives. I put my nose up in the air, walk to my stash and eat a crunchy toffee. Maybe 2. Do I feel deprived? No!! This keeps me emotionally in the game.

That said, I think it's a mistake to have them while watching TV or playing on the computer or after every meal as a treat. I think they cause my ketostick to stop registering ketones. But they are extremely useful to halt a binge in it's tracks.

Good luck!

they have two new ones that are just wonderful! chocolate mousse medallions and then peanut butter crunch. however, i swore all sf candies off for two weeks....if i eat them, the scale doesn't move at all! i think they will be wonderful for maintenance! and for stopping and inevitable binge!
