Default Trying to fight my way back into the LC lifestyle

Hello,

I have been an off and on LC'er for about 2 years. I went on a missions trip to Nepal this summer and ate like a king (I love Indian food). I came back and my weight was 244, and I am about 5' 10. When I got back and saw the pictures from trip I new I was looking like an absolute beach ball. A friend (who I told to start lowcarbbing) had lost about 40 pounds over the summer. I knew I had to get my self in gear. For the first time I started "seriously" LC'ing. For weeks and weeks I didn't cheat at all. With excercise, in about three months I weighed in at 214, for a loss of 30 lbs. My clothes fit, and I felt and looked much better. I was hoping to get to around 185-190.

Then Christmas hit. To make a long story short - instead of just cheating on Christmas day, the "holidays" became a 3-4 week carb fest. I weighed in at 223. Then last week I started again, but got fouled up over the weekend by getting together with friends, and having teens (I am a youth pastor) over the house to watch football. Yesterday I jumped on again, but then I had a few spoons of peanut butter in the evening (my own fault for hovering around the closet - I don't know what LC food I thought was gonna pop out of there). But I didn't eat that much PB, so I did ok yesterday. But the way I tend to work is I need to do induction really strictly for the mental process of eating differently. If I cheat at all it can turn into an Entmann's Crumbcake in a minute.

So I am trying to get motivated and get a few weeks under my belt. Thanks for reading,

Todd
