Sorry about that. I tried to type in color and nothing showed up. FitDay is great. For those of you who don't know about it, go to FitDay.com and check it out.
In order to get your net carbs you have to play around with the nutritional info on your custom foods. For instance, I have a KetoBar that says total carbs 25g, with 11g fiber, 3g sugars alcohol and 9g glycerin. Subtract the fiber, alcohol and glycerin from the total and you get 2g of carbs. That's what you put for total carbs. Leave the fiber and alcohol out. It's not totally accurate for your entire nutritional picture, but the carbs, fats and calories are right so you get a good picture of your low carb eating.
I used this for the first time yesterday. What I thought was going to be around 20-25 g of carbs would have been 36g. I made some changes in what I had for dinner and kept my carbs to 24g. I like to do this in the morning with my coffee (which the way I like it is 8 grams for 2 mugs) and put in what I plan to have that day. Then you can make adjustments if needed.
By the way, after 3 weeks, I finally lost another pound today.
