Default Hydrogenated fats

Ok, I want to rebut something said on another board and want to make sure I have all my info correct.

Atkins does not support the inclusion of hydrogenated fats in his diet - am I right? And also are hydrogenated fats exactly the same as trans fats.

Thanks for helping me out.

You are right. And yes.

Trans fats are plasticised fat. They are NOT food.

Natural saturated fats (plant AND animal) are fine, but not trans fats.
