hj,

I would suggest you go out and buy the dr atkins diet revolution book its like 5.97 at walmart.. It tells you everything you need to know to do atkins..

It has carb counters in it, great advice, list of foods that are available to eat while you are on atkins. it list the do's and dont's of atkins..

Good luck with your journey

Tammy

Make sure you get the 2002 edition and follow Induction to the letter. No second guessing!

With low-carbing there is no need to take diet pills. What you accomplish by low-carbing is re-teaching yourself how to eat properly for a lifetime of maximum health. That doesn't come from a pill, it comes from learning all you can about yourself and your relationship to what, when, why and how you eat!

Hello hjsmom and welcome,

Whatever plan you decide make sure that you use this forum for support and info. Everyone is so helpful and encouraging that it makes things so much easier.

I have been on Atkins since the end of January and am doing great. This site has kept me focused, though.

Good Luck on your new woe (way of eating).

Keep us posted and let us know how you are doing.
