Unhappy I think I made a boo-boo

When measuring tablespoons of dips and dressings, do you skim off the rounded top so that you can't see any above the 'rim' of the spoon when held at eye level? (In other words, make the top of your substance flush with the true top of the spoon) I know this is probably right, and I've not been doing it. My carbs have probably been a lot higher due to those rounded spoonfuls. I saw some posts about stretching your dressings with oil or water and it got me to thinking-my tbsps of dressings sure don't look like your standard tbsp. of water-ARRGH!

Thankfully I've lost 7 lbs. in 10 days. Probably could've done a bit better though.

I think you are over worring. What little extra you may get from leaving the spoon rounded is really nothing. I myself actually never even measure the dressing, just use my judgement. But then I am ususally shot of 20 net carbs so I never worry about it.

If you've lost 7 lbs in 10 days, I don't think you need to worry about a drop or two of extra dressing...

I am in agreement with eveyone else, if you are losing don't worry, it's if you stop or stall that you have to take everything into account! I do know that one of my "rounded" Tablespoons can at times be 2 "REAL" Tablespoons...... lol

Default But what about mayo?

Mayo is one of my weaknesses with using a non-rounded tablespoon. I bet I have 3 or 4 tablespoons per "rounded" tablespoon. Perhaps I need to start taking smaller portions of it. LOL
