Default My Saturday Weigh-in

I'm down another 1/2 pound this week. My loss has been slow, but I've been eating much more than I need. Each month I set new goals. My goal for this month is to try harder to get a handle on emotional eating.
Have a great day all.

♥ Mary

Way to Go Mary

Good for you, I know how hard it is to hang in when the weight is coming off slowly. Congratulations on having the dedication to persevere through a slow spell. Slow losses are a million times better than ups so you are coming out the winner for sure.

Hiya Mary!!

In my book, ANY loss is a GOOD loss!!

Congrats!! Setting goals is a nice motivational tool. Make sure you keep those goals within reach. I set one every Holiday. Even the small holidays. Aprils Fools, Memorial Day...there are really quite a few of them out there too. Keeps me going.

The emotional eating can be tough. Keep some low carb snacks on hand for that. You'll fell less guilty when you scarfing down hard boiled eggs or pepperoni!!

Keep hanging out here, read some threads and learn to live Low Carb!! It does get easier as you set yourself in a routine. Keep up the good work!!

That's what is so great about Atkins. Even though I over ate, I didn't go for kinds of foods that I did in the past - M&Ms etc. Those things are here because I am the only one in the house on Atkins, but honestly, they don't tempt me in the least. What I overate was legal stuff - extra chicken salad, whipping cream - I never went above 40 carbs. Had I still been doing the lowfat thing, I would have gained this week - on less food!!!! The older I get, the more patient I become. I've lost about 1/2 pound per week since I started. As long as the scale continues to move downward, I'm happy.

Have a wonderful day, all!

♥ Mary
