Thumbs up Twenty Pounds Gone

Congratulations that is a fantastic start you have made.

I am sure you are dancing with glee.

Keep on eating as you have been and more pounds should follow. If your weight briefly goes up, don't worry. Its your body adjusting to such a large change in such a short time. You will lose more pounds if you keep faith with this way of life.

Can i join in on the dance too???

Trinia, keep up the good work. Once i started to loose weight, i had enough energy to start exercising on a daily basis. Between low carbing and exercising, the weight will start dropping off quicky. But as was mentioned earlier, we go through stalls and they can get discouraging. That is where i am at right now, but hopefully not for long.

Jumping for joy for you.

Whatever it is, we'll take it.

OT: I did a cheat before I started Atkins. I have never done LC before and I wanted to see if it is a lot of water in the first 2 weeks. So, I took 2 strong dr. prescribed diuritics for 2 days and was in the bathroom a lot. Then started Induction. I lost 15 lbs. in the first 2 weeks. My dr. kind of shook his head at what I did, he is monitoring me. He said 2-3 lbs. is a lot of water weight for anyone. Please, don't do what I did. I wonder if it is water weight in someone who has to take diuritics on a daily basis? My weight loss has slowed down to a bit now, but still losing about 2 lbs a week. I have started to go in and out of ketosis and haven't changed what I eat. Odd.
