Default Gone a while

I began this WOL in november and had not cheated until a couple of days ago when I decided to have a peice of cake (no big deal). I stopped really worrying about getting of the my last 20 lbs. about 3 weeks ago and have pretty much been eating more of a mainenance mode. With the one exception, I have eaten stayed pretty true to this WOE.

After being so determined for the first 4 months I am finding it so hard to make myself go back into induction and get off the last 20-25 lbs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get motivated again? I feel that my weight is now under control, because I limit my carbs to about 100 a day, but I have come too far not to reach my goal.

Thanks

Dennis

Hi Dennis

For SURE you have come to far to give up now. To get motivated again? Well being back here shows that you are on the way, I would say that maybe searching for some of your old posts and reading them might help you remember how you felt when you were on track and losing - also reading lots of other peoples posts should inspire you. That and the fact that you are getting so close to your goal - and it would be silly to let a bit of cake mess you up now. Do you really want to do induction again or simply lower your carbs to less than 100 a day?

Good Luck

I'm going to have to at least do induction for a week or so just to kick myself back into ketosis. Then it won't be bad. I feel good at the weight that I'm at but I am positive that I will feel even better after I get rid of the rest of my gut.
