Question

Need Meat Slicer Advice

I was hoping that some of the veterans out there have purchased electric meat slicers and can help me avoid buying a lousy one. I see there are several in the under $100 range and then many in the $200 to $300 range. I like my meats sliced verrrry thin and I'm afraid that one of the lower end machines wont be able to do it. I'm willing to spend the money if there's a machine that's worth the price.

I have the Krups meatslicer and I'm quite happy with it. I used it today to thinly slice my homemade LC bread. Wow!

I was a bit scared to use it (from an old accident on a meat slicer), but I'll be using it more often. I haven't sliced meat yet, but I will in the next day or so.
