Default New Flavor in Pork Rinds

My Hubby came home with some Salt and Vinegar Pork Rinds the other day.
They were great. I had to make myself stop eating them so I wouldn't eat the whole package.

Oh I forgot I also found some Low carb wheat and fiber bread at the store it says on the package 7 carbs per slice but then the fiber is 2g so it is 5 carbs per slice. I'm amazed!!

Where are you in Arkansas? I'm an Okie from Tulsa and we do not have the salt & vinegar yet...but a run across the state line wouldn't take long did you find them in a chain type store?

Maryb,
My husband brought them home from work and the guy at his work that found them found them at
Wal-Mart. We have two Wal-Marts here and the one I looked in did not have them. So he must have found them in the other one. But they sure are good!!!

Wenzday,

Yes, both of our Wal-Mart stores here are Super Wal-Marts. We are also getting a New Sams store I hope they will have the new flavor of Pork Rinds. The section where they have the pork skins is the same section where the chips are.

I haven't been able to overcome my aversion to pork rinds. No, I haven't ever tasted them. But the idea kinds puts me off.

I do however miss some type of snack food, (popcorn/chips type stuff )

Can anyone sort of give me a description of what these things are like?

Thanks
Chris

Chris,]

Well they are crunchy. REal crunchy. I really don't care for the taste of them much except for those salt and vinegar ones and I could eat the whole bag.

OK, you guys. Here's my fave. It's the Kroger brand and it's BBQ! They are so yummy. I've only found BBQ at my Fry's store (Kroger brands). Have not been able to find another brand of BBQ at any other store.

I was traveling over the weekend and found a new (for me) flavor of pork rinds. Salsa and sour cream. Wow. Up until now, I haven't liked port rinds at all, but these tasted really good. I just have to find them at a local store. These were at a gas station in a single serving size bag.
