Question Fat Flush

Can someone explain a fat flush? How does it work? I need a jump start. I've been on atkins for three months and my weight loss has stalled. If anyone knows how to do a fat flush I'd love to know!!

I have never heard of a fat flush, but the atkin`s book says that to stop a stall one can go back to induction for a while.

Some folks confuse Fat fasts with Fat Flush. The former is an Atkins technique and the latter is a way of eating outlined in the Fat Flush Plan by Ann Louise Gittleman, a PhD nutritionist. You can read more about Fat Flush Plan by clicking here. I'm a tried-n-true fan of the FFP!

Hi Lucille,

As you don't have a journal (hint Journals are a great idea IMHO), it is difficult to know what you have been doing. To me, losing 45% of the weight you need to lose in 3 months is an excellent result. Remember that on low carb, weight loss can happen in fits and starts.

I think you might get some help from this post: Wait! Before starting a stall-buster, read here.

All the best.

Rosebud
