Cool Hello All!

I am new here, and heck, don't even know what to say.

I have been on the Atkins way of eating for about 9 weeks now. In that time I have lost 15lbs. I am hoping to lose another 8lbs to 136. That was the best weight I have ever been at. It isn't easy though!

I am the only one in my home eating like this, which doesn't make much sense since my fiance is a hard-core diabetic. In fact, I think my eating this way is probably hurting him more than helping me. You see when I make dinner, say he wants a pasta side....he gets the whole thing! (No I have not even had a taste of it).

At work I got a lot of grief. Co-workers taking me aside and telling me I am going to lose nothing but water weight. HA! 15lbs of water??? I don't think so. Anyway, now it is a totally different story. They all understand, and one co-worker is going to join me.

This is one of best decisions I have ever made! I feel better than I ever have!

---Look at that, I didn't know what to say...now I can't stop.---

I guess it is just nice to be able to talk about this without people getting that glazed over look.

Thanks for listening.
