Default Xenical Anyone?

Is anyone using Xenical while on a LC diet? The amount of fat that we consume while LC is relatively higher than the normal consumption. Although I limit on the carbs, my body will burn fat instead of carbs according to Atkin, but isn't it still the less fat the better? That means the body will burn the fat consumed during the day first (Which xenical will cut out about 1/3), then the stored. That means faster weight loss? Have any one tried this combination?

Do you love DIARRHEA? You'd better because Xenical on a high fat diet will keep you close to the bathroom.

No. On Atkins, low fat is NOT better. And cutting the fat does not mean faster weight loss. Keep reading the DANDR that is mentioned in your profile under "LC books I have read".

There are other plans that want you to eat less fat but NO LC plan suggests taking Xenical.

Xenical...ughhh...as soon as my doc told me (before I started Atkins) about anal leakage...I was running away from that idea! Can you imagine that? Oh yuck!

We come into the Atkins way of life with the homegrown fear of fats. The reason we add fats because they aid in weightloss while keeping triglycerides and cholesterol low. We have seen proof that fats are healthy for you. Lose your fear.

XENICAL....YUKKKKK!!! BLEHHHH!!! My doctor prescribed it for me to help me control my blood sugar (by losing fat)......it didn't make much sense to me, but I tried it. First of all...the expense is OUTRAGEOUS. Secondly....the others are right about the side effects....WHAT A MESS!!! I had them all....and continued to have them even after they were supposed to stop.....and I wasn't losing any weight....just oily goop....YUKKKK!!!!

Don't even TRY it on Atkins!!!!

Um, I'd read the book and stop messing with miracle cures, from the posts above, doesn't sound like much pleasure, it can't be worth it to your systems. Just eat right, exercise, and the weight will come off.

My Dr wants me to take that stuff too. But I am sticking with Atkins for awhile first and waiting to see what happens.
