My opinion? It has improved my lipid profile.

And just about anyone I've ever encountered that faithfully follows the Atkins plan sees improved lipid profiles, as well.

No opinion, just facts.

My profile improved from dangerous to what is now termed normal. And my blood pressure went from high- normal to low-normal. Those two things are only two of the benefits from low-carbing.

N opinion, just fatcs. .. In just 8 weeks, my overall cholesterol, good cholesterol, bad cholesterol and Trigliceride levels all improved.

In Oct '03 Dr. took me off of the blood pressure medication that I had been taking for the past 2-3 years.

I have never had my blood chemistry done, I have not had health insurance. But I think that being 126 pounds overweight is a terrible strain on my heart. I want to get that weight off!! Orchid

I had bloodwork done at Christmastime. Here are my results:

HDL = 77
LDL = 59
Triglycerides = 59
glucose = 98

This way of eating has been good for my heart as you can see.
