Hi Red,

Your post reminded me that I used to have what I suppose would now be termed SAD every spring when I was a teen. It went away!

How was your 4th?

Karen

Actually, we'll all be here to help you when it's winter ... There's a number of us here with full-blown SAD, so we have a forum where we can support one another .. it's with the Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. Last winter we found that keeping the carbs under control really helped with the cravings and hypoglycemic energy crashes. Plus, we gave each other a nudge to get out and get some exercise on those days when we just wanted to stay in bed with the covers pulled over our heads.

See ya there

Talking thanks all

i'm glad you're better Karen!!! gives me hope well, my 4th went well. slept in 'til 2, went to a birthday party, then to a drive-in to see Cats & Dogs *a lot better than i was expecting *, AI (VERY good in my opinion), and Tomb Raider (could have been better, but oh well). didn't get to bed until 5 so i've been a slug *ugh* but early to bed tonight...*L* but not before i make some dinner. i haven't been eating very well lately *still sickly * but i'm toughing it out best i can. resisted the bread demon earlier today and i've been alright. had a little bit of icecream cake last night and a handful of popcorn which doesn't help my tummy feel any better *L* but all in all life's been good. still need an exercize machine though!!! *argh* oh well. *L*
