Hi, Cheri.
If it's over 5.00 a loaf, that might be because it ISN'T made with cheap white wheat flour, like cheap regular bread.
If it's covered in ice crystals, if outside the bag, did you complain to the Store Manager? Did you check the Best Before date (and complain to the Store Manager if it was in the freezer too long)?
If inside the bag, did you complain the wrapping was inadequate to the manufacturer? Actually, which bread was it?
These, I hope, are some helpful suggestions, now that you've had a chance to vent !
