Default Hidden Sugar

I'm partial to corned beef. I saw on a packet that sugar has been added. It's everywhere.

But the carb count is still low.

Can you still eat it and just account for the carbs, or is any hidden sugar to be avoided at all costs?

Unless you're following the KISS plan, it's practically impossible to avoid. If the amount is small, I'd say go ahead and eat it and just count the carbs. Be aware of the effect that it has on you, though. If it causes carb cravings, it's best to avoid that particular food.
