Default Hi, I'm new, need help please!

Hi everyone, I'm Lorraine and I've just joined this site.
I have candida, which I have known since I had an allergy test 2 years ago, I have tried to eat a low carb diet, but finding it hard to cut out chocolate and biscuits, etc... I know that caprylic acid kills candida but is it ok to eat creamed coconut in the block form or coconut flakes as I have found that this satisfies my cravings for sugar, I know it is very sweet, but also has beneficial properties because of the caprylic acid?
Is this the only fruit that is allowed? I also feel bloated all the time.
Thanks.

coconut in any form is allowed as long as there is no added sweeteners to it. Tropicaltraditions.com has probably the best stuff to find and they also sell coconut flour which is good for those 'bread' cravings.

Remember the rawer and less processed foods.........the better for you.

Yes it is unsweetened as the ingredient list on the packets states 100% creamed coconut. I am a member of another site for candida and the lady who runs it says coconut is not allowed because of the sugar, not even caprylic acid, only coconut oil, does anyone know the sugar content of coconuts?
