Unhappy Help, have Scale withdrawal!!!

I had a personal digital bathroom scale for over a year. I used to to track my progress. But after joining the forum in April and realizing how an evil contraption it really is, I gave it away to a friend. It has been almost 3 weeks and I am going crazy. I don't know how much I weigh and it is almost like I feel a void. I can't ask my friend for my scale back, but not knowing is getting to me. What should I do?

Hmmmm, can you just go by your friend's house about every three weeks or so? Or step on a scale at the grocery store?

Or maybe you can just pick some pants at fit you just perfect right now. If they start to feel snug -- kick it up a notch. If they start to get loose, get a new pair to measure by...

Or, if you just can't live without it, go get a new scale.

Skip the scale!

It's not about how much you press against the earth. For me at least, it's how my pants fit!

You wouldn't have gotten rid of it if you hadn't decided. Stick with your original decision. A scale is very deceptive on low carbing anyway.

Very true!

My scales have given me a lot of grief and upset lately, so I'm thinking of getting rid of them too.
