Talking Yipee - lost inches!

Well, I've been fretting about the fact that I lost weight during the first week of induction and then my weight has crept back up in this 2nd week. But I'm also working out 4 days a week at Curves and today was my 1st "measure day". According to the Curves scale I'd only dropped 2 lbs BUT I've lost 9 1/2"!!
So, when I start to get discouraged about slow weight loss - will I be able to feel comfortable in a bathing suit when I go to Maui this summer? - I can remember that it ain't just the pounds lost - it's the inches and a firmer body! Plus the fact that losing the sugar and processed foods makes me feel a ton better!
Good luck everyone!

Low carbing is amazing this way. That is why when some people have issues with the scale I try to impress upon them that we burn more fat and look better faster - the scale doesn't show that part.

Smaller not lighter is my motto!

Sounds like you've got just the attitude needed for success! Congratulations on your inches lost! You should be proud. Working out and low-carb seems to do great things for our bodies. I'm so amazed!!

Good luck on the rest of your journey!
