Unhappy No Nuts!

I have (through process of elimination) recently discovered that eating nuts kicks me out of ketosis. I have tried almonds, pistachios, and macadamia to date. Its not a big deal I guess, since I know my body doesn't like them, but that only wants to make me eat them all the more!

Oh, how do I know they knock me out of ketosis, well that is what the strips tell me. I know don't trust the strips. But I no longer have ketosis breath, or that funny taste in my mouth.

I know I have food allergies, maybe this has something to do with it?

Default Just a question:

Do you think nuts affect you because of allergens or because of your serving sizes? I know I have a big problem with them mainly because I can't stop!!

I eat mac nuts all the time... but I keep it down to a max of 1/4c in a given day. They are very high in fat, which makes them high calorie as well. I only had keto breath once... and that was about 2 months ago... never happened again since. But I still average from a half lb to 1lb loss a day. I don't rely on the strips or breath.. it can be deceiving.

Maybe have nuts... but in moderation.

Default Something I don't understand..

Why does the fat fast contain choices like Macadamias and Walnuts but then on Induction we're not supposed to have them? I guess that's kind of confusing to me. I have been eating them, but I'm not sure if they're slowing down my weight loss or not. I don't think so though, because.. What ingredients would cause weight loss to stall? They're also high in fat so I'd think they would aid weight loss.. Hmm.. mind boggling
