Question Weight loss...top down or bottom up???

Hello, hello, hello

I have a quick question...I once had an athletic trainer tell me that when women lose weight, it comes off from the top down. Meaning....you'll see if first in your face, then shoulders, then chest, etc....you get the picture She also said that men lose weight starting around their middle and go from there.

Is there any truth to this

Thanx!

Seems to hold true for me and my husband. I'm losing from the top down and he's losing his stomach first (dang him!).

Default this is weird....

Hrmmm... my weight loss (unless I'm imagining things) seems to be bottoms up (except for the tummy argh!!) my legs are getting thinner but my arms are still flabby and my GUT is a nightmare. I now feel like an ice cream cone. They say the arms n stuff are the easiest to lose, the question is, why are mine still big??

I am looking thinner in the face but not the belly or thighs. I have lost 14.5 pounds and cant see it anywhere but my top so it definitly holds true for me! I think it is very unfair thought, LOL. I want the belly gone!!!

I've found fat loss to be a "last in, first out" kind of thing. The places that I gain in most easily are the hardest to lose (for me, that's the stomach). The last places that show fat are the first places to go (for me, that's thighs/hips). Everyone loses differently, and there's not a whole lot you can do to effect your loss pattern. It's genetic, so just consider it hard-coded and try not to get too distressed over it.
