Default Curious to know

Im curious to know what happens when a person has been on a low calorie diet and then switches to low carb. Would weightloss be slower, or the same?

All I can give you is my personal experience. I was on a low fat/low calorie diet and lost 4 pounds in about 4 months. VERY slow even with working out 5 days a week. After I started low carb, I lost 4 pounds in two weeks and have lost a total of about 28 pounds in 5 months. For me, this is the healthiest thing as I have gotten many other benefits from low carb.

It depends on your amount of calories you were consuming with your low calorie diet. They say never to go under 1200 calories and preferably 1500. If you were eating less odds are your metabolism is slowed somewhat once your body knows your not starving and food supply isnt going to be cut off and exercising, your metabolism should bounce back it may just take a little time.
