Default herbal teas- how much is ok?

Hi there

I have read Atkins book and have a carb counter- but still seem unclear about herbal teas.
I'm trying to decrease my coffee (decaff) intake-b/c of amount of cream I use with multiple coffees....and switching to herbal teams by mid pm and into evening...(I used to drink a lot of coffee).

Is each herbal tea the same? you don't need to put cream in it....but b/c they are from plants- are there some with higher carbs that you wouldn't necessarily know about (they seem to taste sweet....without sweateners)?

(what would a limit be and which ones are ok ? are basically my questions). And do they cause stalls?

The carb counter I have doesn't have herbal teas in it.

Thanks- once again- I learn alot on this forum..

Go to www.fitday.com and put "tea" in the search box...it brings up several.

Some herb teas have carbs but it's usually low - about 1 per cup I believe. You could do a search of this site for the words "Herbal AND tea AND carb" and see what comes up.
