Default For the New Dieters... Good page

I just wanted to add a bit more to the post above. The adkins website is great but where you really need your information is here:

http://atkinscenter.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html

that is the breakdown of what you can and cannot have..

Default Hi there

Just saw your reply regarding beef jerky....The breakfast of champions!!! I am at work now and did not have time to grab something thids morning before work, so I just ran out and grabbed some beef jerky and of course a huge bottle of water.
I sympathize with you about it being difficult while at work. We work right next to a Chinese restaurant and on the other side is a pizzaria!!! I did find out however that my eggdrop soup is about 2 grams!!! I used to order lunch from them 2-3 times a week...until I started this diet that is!

Other choices for Chinese restaurant is: egg foo young pancakes w/ no gravy or rice but I use a little hot chilli oil and soy sauce or steamed protein and veggies w/ the same chili oil and soy sauce.

Me and DH love the asian type restaurants such as Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese. I have learned to adapt as much as possible.

As for the pizzeria - just have them make you a cheese steak sandwich with fried onions and/or mushrooms without the roll or a chef salad w/ high fat dressing.

Do you suppose they use flour in the pancakes?

Fitday doesn't have that listed in the ingredients. I would believe even if used would be neglegable. Maybe past induction????

I haven't had an issue with it...
