Hi Everyone!
I'm getting back on the diet wagon for the New Year. I'm a Type 2 diabetic, so I have to stay on some kind of diet all the time, but I've been a little sloppy lately. I started Sugarbusters in October of 2001, the same day I had to start insulin therapy. Stayed with it for four months and didn't see any results, so I stopped and looked into Schwarzbein and other plans, then got back into some of the old eating habits again. Starting again now... I prefer the Low Glycemic approach, but it may not be working for me... I'm reading the Atkins book now and considering switching to it.

On a personal note, I'm male, 55 years old, married to Betty for 33 years, have two grown kids, Alan and Amy, and we live in southeast Oklahoma. I'm pretty much homebound due to an MS-like neurological disorder that makes walking difficult. I babysit my 3 1/2 year old grandson five days a week. Betty is an LPN at a local Nursing Home. Weight-wise, I waver between 230 and 240... need to lose down to 195-200.

Ronnie
