I have bought the Atkins Answer and find it very interesting reading, At the moment i weigh 280lbs + as my scales only go up to 280lbs I am not sure of my exact weight, I would like to get down to 175lbs or less so I have a long way to go, I shall probably be requiring support,as I find it very difficult to Diet and stick to it, I am from the UK and 64yrs old,I have just started taking a long walk everyday as I dont feel I can do too much to start with in the excercise area. I will let you know of my progress as time goes by.

Hi Ian! Don't worry, we all find it difficult in the beginning. But this way of eating isn't starvation. I think you'll be pleased! Once you're used to the new habits, it'll be a piece of cake. Or should I say, a piece of... steak.

Here are a couple of fellows who have done well:

<a href="http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67438">Don</a>

There are other inspiring stories in the "success stories" forum, also.

Best of luck to you.
