Default no weight loss in 15 days

I started low carbing Nov 29. I have lost 13 lbs . I have been eating 25 carbs or less per day for the past 10 days. No weight loss for 15 days. I have been drinking 2 cans diet pepsi or coke per day, down from my normal 4 per day. Could the aspartame be the reason? I did not drink any during induction. I am drinking lots of water.
Is it OK to have flax cereal twice a day? I would rather eat it than a hershey bar!
The only craving I have had is when I heated some sourdough bread for my hubby.
I enjoy reading the different forums. I would not have made it this far without this site.

Smile Hi there!

What you are experiencing is VERY typical and there's no need for concern. Your body has just gone through quite a lot...a big weight loss and a switch in metabolic systems. A period of adjustment is perfectly normal. The solution is to STICK WITH THE PLAN and you will start losing again. OK? Don't give up!!! Very important!!!!!!

Post Hello

Hello! The scales are enough to drive a person insane.. I have given mine the name Satan actually..lol Anyway, you are doing great. I get discouraged too,but then I remember that I lost more on this plan in one week than I lost in a month on low fat. And if you are not going up in weight that's even better. I have been reading so many journals and women especially go up and down day to day even. Good Luck to you. Patience is hard, but think of the outcome.

Hi--

You might try giving up the diet soda again. Aspartame
does stall some people.

I don't know about the flax cereal, but I know someone
here does, so you should get your answer.

Good luck!

Jill
