Default Travel Success

Hi everybody,

I wanted to say hello since I’ve been away for a while. My trip in May was great. The travel food and strategies we discussed worked really well. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...=&threadid=4795
I was only aiming for maintenance and no carb binges; I’m happy to say that I didn’t blow it once! It turned out to be a lot easier than I had hoped. I used the pre-diabetic explanation. No one urge me to cheat, and it created an obligation – I had to stay on track so I wouldn’t embarrass myself.

However, we brought back a puppy. He is my first excuse for being so busy that I haven’t posted. (Not house-broken! Yikes!) Then we were all away for a family vacation. On top of that I have a huge freelance illustration job to complete before September so I am really under pressure to pare down the extras.

I am checking in a couple of times a week, though, to stay in touch. I appreciate you guys! And “Good on you!” to the new moderators!

Kay

Excellent Kay! That's very hard to do when you're elsewhere on on vacation. A great accomplishment.

Have a blast with your new pup. Wait till the chewing phase starts.

Thanks, both of you. I miss you.

Puppy has already chewed two chair legs, a stool and a planter!

Well, back to my cocoon!
