carbs after/before exercise
I have read in many books including BFL that consuming a high carb +high protein drink after weight training enhances recovery and muscle growth. I have also read that carbs are required for progression in higher intensity resistance training.
Does anyone know anything about this and how it may fit in with the low carber plan?
Also what carbs would be best? Bill Phillips has suggested between 30 - 50 grams(!) after training. How about before?
