a few years back I found these boards while on atkins. i did GREAT on atkins, and never felt better in my life! finally, no cravings, not thinking about food all day, etc.
sad to say, i had some major life issues (including major depression, serious autoimmune thyroid issues, and some very stressing personal crises), and i completely fell off. i gained all my weight back plus some (isn't that always the way?

now, i'm doing much better, and i'm ready to get serious about losing this weight. plus, i want to cook at home!
i picked up dr. schwarzbein's book, and so far, i really like it. what she says makes so much sense, and given my thyroid issues, something about a book by a endocrinologist appeals to me (although, maybe it shouldn't!

my only question is, is schwarzbein right for me, or should i maybe go back to atkins? i must confess that i really like that schwarzbein will let me have more carbs,and things like whole grains, etc.
so, after all this, why are you on scwarzebein, and not another plan?
