Question SF rush? Blood sugar affected?

Its me! Hi. With another question for everyone. Tada! I'm on day 12 and still feeling like I have no energy or sometimes the past few days actually I get that nausious feeling back but not to the extremes that I had the first 3-7 days of this WOL. I will eat a protein snack when feeling like either of these and I have noticed that the protein snack will give me a little bit of energy within maybe an hour. But here is where my question comes in. I was feeling like this about 20 mins ago and decided to have my 1 SF, caffeine free soda and in about 5 minutes I felt SO much better. Is there any reason for this? It can't be my blood sugar because its SF right? Any answer would be great. Thanks

Kirsten

If you're a die hard addict, even artificial sweeteners can give you a "sugar high" because your body is used to responding that way to anything sweet. And, it seems to be more pronounced the longer you live low-carb. Insulin is released and that is exactly what none of us want to have happen. The switch is permanently on to reacting to sweetness

I call artificial sweeteners low-carb methadone. From one addiction to another.

Believe me, I know from where I speak.
