Question Salmon has carbs???

I went to Costco and bought a bag of the Kirkland brand frozen salmon filets, because I looked at the ingredients, and it said "Fresh Atlantic Salmon, Salt, Water", but after I got home it said they have 4grams of carbs per serving (filet). I'm hoping this is a typo. I just can't see how salmon has carbs... Every carb counter I look at lists it as having none.

I'm just confused! Sheesh!

Laters,
Jenn

Question

Fresh, frozen or canned plain natural salmon has no carbs at all. Some smoked or other processed salmon has sugar used for the curing process.

Check the calorie count. Does it add up for the amount of protein and fat listed? Is there a recipe or serving suggestion on the package that includes carbs in it? Perhaps the nutrition data is for the recipe?

Question

Hello,

The other I bought chicken wings at safeway, lilydale brand, and found out when I came at home that it had 2 g carbs per 100 grams. So I called safeway and asked them if it has anything else than chicken, the answer was that sometimes they put lemon juice for I don't remember which reason but she said that she was going to call the company and ask the reason. I did not get an answer yet but I am sure you guys have an idea!

thanks,

maggie
