Angry 1 month and counting need help...

Well, I have been doing this for about a month now. I'm fairly pleased with my loss so for, but it's not as much as I'd like it to be. Anyway, I'm sick to deat of breakfast meats and eggs!!!!! I've read all the breakfast recipes even tried several and they were yummy (french toast and mock danish) . I have scoured the internet looking for something new and can't seem to find anything. I could eat mock danishes everyday, but too much of a good think is never good for you. Besides I don't want to end up hating them like I do tuna right now. So, if you have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

Who said you could only have "breakfast" food for breakfast? Try some leftovers!

In the recipe section on the orange bar you will find mock danish.

LC28, breakfast is the most important meal of the day - but it doesnt have to be 'breakfast'. Any food that is good enough for lunch or dinner can be breakfast. Think outside the box.

I love hot spicy chicken wings before heading out the door.

Nat

P.S. Jen, the mock danish recipe is in the kitchen subforum, it may be a ways down now but if you keep going you'll find it.

My first breakfast is usually a protein drink. After that, anything goes. Steak is a favorite breakfast of mine and today for a novelty, I'm having sausages and eggs. I don't remember the last time I had that!

Ain't it great being all grown up and able to eat whatever for breakfast?!

Marlaine

Thanks for all your replies. I guess I need to think more outside the "box." Funny thing is I took one of those personality tests once and I was a box!!!

Atkins discourages artificial sweeteners during Induction, but once you make it past the formal two weeks you can add it in even if you have decided to "stick" to Induction for the time being - you are just doing a modified Induction.

Use the Splenda (or other AS) in moderation and look out for them being either a stall food (due to a psychosomatic - but very real in its effect - insulin reaction) or a trigger food for sugar cravings.

Thanks Wbahn,

Yes gone past hte first 2 weeks of induction.. working on 6 weeks now... So i guess its what you call a modified induction... I ended up using less than one packet of splenda... I try to stear away from the splenda stuff..i made one tonight I figured I will use this as a once a week treat ...to break up the normal stuff... I needed it tonight to get my 20 carbs in so now im even.. YEAH and it give me the calories i needed to finish the day... Thanks again....

Tammy
