A correction, and additional information.
Dr. Atkins name is Robert, not Richard as stated in the article.
There is a chart in the 2002 DANDR about obesity levels in the United States. The article mentioned that by 2005, the UK will have 20% obesity rate of adults. Check this out.
The number of states in which 35% or more of adults are overweight.
1988: 7
1992: 17
1996: 28
1999: 46
That's right. In 1999 46 of the 50 United states had an adult population in which 35% or more were overweight.
How alarming! I looked and looked at that chart. What is going on here? Makes me want to get out there and do something, but what?
