Hey Nat,
I was looking at the carb counter from the tools section and it says that:
A cup of Sesame Seeds have:
Total Carbohydrates 14.09 g
Dietary Fiber 17.40 g
So when off induction, does this mean it's a "free food"? I think it would be interesting to add to recipes, etc..
Also, it list's pecan's at:
Nuts, pecans, dry roasted, with salt added 13.50 g carbs 9.50 g fiber net carbs of 4.00 g
The net on raw pecans are 4.26.
And lists Mac's at:
Nuts, macadamia nuts, dry roasted, with salt added 12.83 g carbs 8.00 g fiber net carbs 4.83 g
And raw is net 5.22.
So while Mac might be the lowest straight carbs, it seems that pecan's beat it out on the net.
I wonder if dry roasting at home has the same carb reduction that factory dry roasting does. I prefer to roast any kind of nuts/seeds before I eat them for the flavor.
