Default Glass of water first thing in the morning.

Hello all. =) I was just pondering something. Everyone seems to say that you should drink a glass of water first thing in the morning that it really jump starts your metabolism. Well, I've tried that the past week and it seems to be true. When I don't drink a glass of water... I'm not hungry until breakfast. If I do drink a glass of water, I'm starving within 30 mins. So it seems it does work. I'm wondering I guess if anyone knows a scientific explanation on this. If not... it's ok. Was just sitting here pondering, no biggie. =)

Thumbs up RE: Water in the AM...

All I know is I wake up so darn thristy it's all I can do but hold off on my 3 big glasses until the dogs are outside

Being in ketosis really dehydrates the crap out of me and I'm always super thirsty. But the morning is the worst.

I just expect to be in the ladies' room at least every 30 minutes and I'm happy to say that I don't mind as long as I remind myself that ketones are coming out. I tell myself I'm just getting rid of the fat every time I'm in the bathroom (had a hard time trying not to be too vulgar).
