Question How much fat during Induction??

I am still pretty new to the Atkins thing (on day 3 of Induction) and I am not sure how much fat I should be getting. I know I've read that fat is instrumental in the success of Induction, I'm just afraid to eat too much.

Any advice?? I want to have as much success with this as possible.

Thanks!

Don't worry about numbers on Induction. Fat is metabolically neutral as far as your body is concerned; it will not cause any kind of insulin reaction in your body. If you're hungry eat. I eat on average 140g of fat a day, thats 1260 calories from fat, I have to eat up to 2500 calories to get to 12 times my body weight for optimal fat burning, This isnt easy.... I cant eat that much but fat makes it easier as it has 9 calories per gram (carbs and protein have 4 per/gram). I doubt you'll be able to eat more than you need. The lowfat low carlorie mind set that "fat is bad" is one of the hardest things to get over when starting LC. Just sit back with Dr. Atkins book and read what he says about induction one more time, and go for it. It works.
