Default hit by a wagon

Well, not only did I fall off the wagon,it has run me over and killed my diet!
I don't even know what happened, but slowly and surley I'm right back to those old eating habits,ie mcdonalds, chips ect...
since July 3rd, It's like I never heard of Atkins ..so far I've gained 5 lbs back(gonna have to change my stats now grrr)
I also think being away from this board (b/c I get addicted to discussion groups) didn't help me and I have a physical 7-20...so I am determined to get on another wagon and ride off to thinville!

Of course you're back on the wagon - you probably love this board as much as I do and don't want to be banned for high-carbing (not that they do, of course). I've slipped off several times but I always come back for more LC because it's a wonderful way to live.

You'll make it this time - just hang in there.

I've been there and I'm clawing my way back onto the wagon now. It's amazing how those bad eating habits can sneak up on you. It's a good thing you posted. It's a step. The only way this diet works is if you actually do it.
Good luck. Search the archives for other people in the same situation. You can do it!

You have my empathy and sympathy - and company. I totally blew it yesterday and gained three pounds overnight. (sniff...) and now I feel like a big fat cow again. Well, let's try to put it behind us (no pun intended) and do better from here on...sigh.

You are certainly not alone. It is shocking how easily those old habits can return. Why are we even tempted by the "crap"? I used to think I was immune from back-sliding, but I've learned the hard way that I am not. We will just have to keep plugging!

Good luck to All!
