Question

Would like to do SBD-but breastfeeding

Hi all-
Okay all I have done Atkins before but now I am nursing my daughter and I would like (duh) lose weight! I am not sure what to do or how to start SBD. So I guess I am wondering about how I should start if I should start since I am nursing. Hoping to get some feedback! Thanks all-Take care-Whitney

Remember you need more calories while breastfeeding, even more then while pregnant. Instead of starting on phase 1, maybe start with phase 2 so you can be sure to avoid ketosis and get a wider range of foods. Then once you are done breastfeeding you can move down to phase 1 if needed. You'll probably find that phase 2 is enough, just slower.
