Question Puzzling Weight Gain

A couple of weeks ago I was down with allergy symptoms. During that period I was taking assorted sinus medications including Clairiton. As usual I felt thirsty all of the time and it seemed more was going in than going out. I ate considerably less than normal although not enough less to be below what I should intake as my activity was down. I gained over five pounds in three days, can't for the life of me figure how unless it was water. Since that time I have watched my diet, been fairly active and have been able to shed only two pounds of it.

Could it be possible I gained water weight for some reason? How can I get rid of it, any ideas?

Regards,

BRat

Hey Bay

I have no answers yet, but I will likely get some mean allegy symptoms soon, now that our part of the continent has thawed!

Yeah, I would say, maybe if you are drinking alot more water, and the pills make you retain water or something, maybe that would explain it.

I take claritin too, when the allergies start (which is imminent), so I'll tell you how it goes for me, too.

Allergies are reactive in the body and cause tissues to swell and hold water.
